What stays on this device
Your current route, saved route tapes, archive backups, and license token are stored locally in your browser. They are not uploaded to us. GPX and JSON files are read in your browser and exported directly to you.
What leaves this device
The free planner sends no route coordinates, saved routes, analytics, advertising identifiers, or map requests anywhere. When you buy or verify Route Tape, your browser contacts the Sociobot billing API with the license token. Sociobot/Dodo processes checkout as merchant of record; their payment terms apply.
Offline storage and deletion
The service worker caches the app shell and artwork so the planner can run offline. Delete individual route tapes inside the planner, clear this site’s browser data to remove everything, or remove the installed app. JSON and GPX files you downloaded remain wherever you saved them.

Questions can be raised through the product repository. Material changes will update the effective date here. We do not sell or share personal data for advertising.
